Because of my rather dark, mordant sense of humour, I shared this with a (very) recently dumped friend, perkily suggesting that she and Mark Corrigan now had a lot in common. I then joked repeatedly about her ‘hungry eyes’ and ended by welcoming her into the ranks of the creepy singletons. Thankfully she didn’t take my witchy cackling the wrong way…
